ARIS lost to OMONOIA 3-0 at G.S.P on Sunday night. Despite the score, our team deserved better since it was the best team in the 90 minutes.
The difference between the two teams was that Omonoia managed to score three times (2 penalties) and we didn’t.
ARIS was the team with the most final attempts and clear chances but couldn’t find the back of the net. On the contrary, Omonoia scored twice in the first half from the penalty spot and a rebound from a set piece.
Our team was superior in the second half. Once again Liasos Louca players created goal-scoring opportunities and managed to keep their opponents far from Vana’s goal. Despite the effort, ARIS didn’t manage to score a goal. On the contrary, Omonia scored a third from the penalty spot again at stoppage time.
After matchday 10 results, ARIS remains in third position.
