Aris Limassol announces the agreement with Adam Markhiyev! The agreement is for a four-year term and will keep the player in the ranks of our team until January 2029!
The 22-year-old (17/03/2002) Markhiyev is a Finnish player -of Russian descent- who plays as a central and defensive midfielder. He is a current international with Finland’s U21 team.
Over the past two years Markhiyev played for RFS, winning two league titles and a cup. In addition, he represented the Latvian champions in their Europa League group stage campaign in the current season. In the Latvian championship that was completed in November, Markhiyev recorded 33 appearances, scoring two goals and providing 4 assists in the process, while he recorded 16 appearances (1 goal) in European competitions.
Previously, he played for two seasons for FK Spartaks Jurmala. The Finnish international began his career from HJL Helsinki academies, reaching the reserve team before moving to Latvia.
