The opening game of the 86th Cyprus 1st division championship is almost two months away, but as of yesterday the first goal is the opening game against Karmiotissa, then the one against Omonoia 29M and all those that follow.
Yesterday’s draw, officially marked the countdown to the opening day of the Cytavision Championship, which will be the 4th consecutive participation for our team since our promotion back to the top division.
Since that premiere against Olympiacos on August 22, 2021 when Aris prevailed by 2-1 on the road, our team’s winning steak at premieres raised to three. In the 22-23 season, Aris, playing at home started the season with a 2-1 win over AEL, while last season (23-24), our team, playing at home again in the premiere, won AEK Larnaca by 2-0 at Alphamega stadium.
Meanwhile, the team's preparation in Latvia continued for the 11th day. With the exception of the morning training (running on the beach) the rest of the day was about tactics and ball drills.
