Aris bids Farewell to Latvia with a Victory

Aris concluded the first stage of their preseason training camp in Latvia with a friendly 2-0 win over RFS.

Artem Radkov used a total of 19 players, with Moussuonda and Sarfo being the only ones who played the entire match, while Mayambela and Correia played for 60 minutes in total. It’s worth noting that the match lasted 70 minutes (35 minutes each half) in order to avoid overburdening the players, who had already undergone many intense training sessions.

The first sample of the new Aris was quite good, and Artem. Radkov saw his players implement some of the elements he’s been asking for in their game. During the match, there were also internal changes, with some players being tested in different positions.

The goals came relatively early in the game — Kvilitaia scored in the 2nd minute after an assist from Kokorin, and Sarfo scored in the 12th minute, securing the final score. In the 59th minute, Theocharous effort hit the post.

Aris started the match with: Vana Alves (25' Sofroniou), Yago, Goldson, Loucoubar, Correia, Moussuonda, Sarfo, Mayambela, Kokorin, Bengtsson, and Kvilitaia.

In the second half, the coach lined up the team with: Sofroniou (46' Zadro), Boakye, Moussounda, Loucoubar (46' Correia), Demetriou, Theocharous, Sarfo, Gaustad, Bengtsson (46' Mayambela), Semedo, and Theodosiou.
