Aris FC held its last training session on Austrian soil today at the training facilities near Κaprun. Tomorrow our team will travel to St. Johann for the last friendly against Heidenheim and on Sunday morning the team will fly to Cyprus.
During the team's stay in Austria, the coach placed special emphasis on tactics, as in addition to the many friendly games - one every three days - all training sessions included ball drills, while theory lessons on the tactical aspect of the game were also on the agenda almost on a daily basis.
The last training session, therefore, was no exception, as after the warm-up the players did drills with the ball and then a tactical game 11 vs 11 was held with emphasis on tactics with and without the ball.
Meanwhile, in the list of absentees which includes Vana Alves, Caju and Brown (they had therapy sesion) Mislav Zadro was added. The Croatian goalkeeper felt discomfort in his knee after the friendly against Udinese. At the preliminary tests he underwent revealed a knee problem which doesn’t seem to be serious. Upon the team's return to Cyprus, the player will undergo new tests to diagnose the problem.
The game against Heidenheim will kick-off at 16:30 (Cyprus time) and will be broadcasted live on Cytavision.
