Aris officially started its preparation for the new season on Saturday, June 22nd! Our head coach Aliaksei Shpileuski spoke to the players about the new beginning, welcomed the new players and analysed the preparation plan.
The team had a training session on Sunday morning as well and early on Monday morning 24/6, the team will fly to Latvia, specifically to the city of Jurmala, where they will stay for 3 weeks for the main stage of the pre-season.
During their stay in Latvia, our team will play 2 friendly games against Latvian teams. On July 10th against FK Metta and on July 13th against Riga FC II. The following day, Aris FC will return to Cyprus.
Aris team consists of 37 persons in total, but this number will increase, as Alex Moussounda, Jaden Montnor and Milosz Matysik will join the team on June 27th, since they were given an additional few days off, due to their commitments with their national teams. For the same reason, and also because of his wedding, additional leave was given to Steeve Yago who will be joining the team in Latvia on June 30th.
On the other hand, Mihlali Mayambela, who is facing an issue with his visa, will train in Cyprus under the supervision of a trainer until the problem is overcome, and he travels to Latvia to integrate with the rest of the team.
