Aris Limassol FC is delighted to announce the signing of Cypriot international striker Andronikos Kakoullis from Swedish side AIK Stockholm!
The 24-year-old forward (born May 3, 2001) has signed a three-year contract with the club. Kakoullis is a product of the Omonoia Nicosia academy, where he made his senior debut during the 2017–18 season at just 17 years old.
During his time at the Nicosia-based club, he enjoyed significant domestic success, winning the Cypriot First Division title in 2020–21, two Cypriot Cups (2021–22, 2022–23), and the Super Cup in 2021. Across all domestic competitions, he made 164 appearances, scoring 35 goals and providing 18 assists.
On the European stage, Kakoullis featured, among others, in both the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League, registering a total of 43 appearances, 10 goals, and 11 assists in continental competitions.
In March 2025, he made the move to Sweden, joining AIK Stockholm, where he featured in 13 matches and netted 3 goals.
Kakoullis has represented Cyprus at all youth levels—U17, U19, and U21—and has been a full international since 2020. He currently holds 28 caps for the Cyprus senior national team, with 5 international goals to his name.
We are thrilled to welcome Andronikos to Aris Limassol and look forward to his contributions on the pitch. We wish him every success in our jersey.
