In an excellent initiative that combines athletic dedication with corporate social responsibility, Aris Limassol FC announced a financial donation of €50,000 to the "Americos Argyriou" Preventive Pediatric Center for the year 2025.
This financial support for the Preventive Pediatric Center reflects the team's emphasis on prevention and health protection, while also significantly enhancing the work of the Center, which has been providing its services for free to all pregnant women and newborns in Cyprus since 1988 through its three screening programs:
- Prenatal Screening Program
- Neonatal Preventive Screening Program
- Neonatal Hearing Screening Program
"Love Packages" Donation by Aris Limassol
In addition to the financial support for the "Americos Argyriou" Preventive Pediatric Center, the team's management has prepared special "love packages," which include infant products bearing the team's logo. These will be offered to all newborns who visit the Center’s offices in Limassol as part of the Neonatal Hearing Screening Program.
On Friday, April 4, 2025, the distribution of the "love packages" began for the first families. Present at the Center’s offices to support this initiative were the President of Aris, Mr. Vladimir Fedorov, and the President of the "Americos Argyriou" Preventive Pediatric Center, Dr. Argyris Argyriou.
At a press conference that followed at the Center's offices, the President of Aris emphasized that, "Social contribution has always been a priority for our team, and I am particularly happy that this specific collaboration with the 'Americos Argyriou' Preventive Pediatric Center is focused on newborns, who represent the future of our country."
On his part, Dr. Argyriou thanked the management of the football team for such an important initiative and noted, "Such actions highlight the role that sports can play in strengthening the social fabric, health, and well-being of citizens." "Aris," he added, "as one of the most historical teams in Cyprus, particularly in the Limassol region, has always played a multifaceted role not only in sports but also in social and cultural matters in the city."
