Aris lost to Dinamo Kyiv

Choosing a starting eleven that we will hardly see in an official game, our team suffered a heavy defeat to Dynamo Kyiv by 4-0. The game was held in Knittelfeld in the presence of more than 400 fans.

Alexey Shpilevsky squad for the game included just 17 players with the Belarussian coach having the intention of giving 90 minutes to two of the four newcomers (Montnor-Sane) he had in the squad. In fact, Sané and goalkeeper Badji made their unofficial debuts. The fourth of the newcomers, Veljko Nikoljc, played in the last thirty minutes.

Dynamo Kyiv’s team looked in better shape compared to Aris. Our team once more didn’t manage to avoid defensive mistakes that resulted in the Ukrainian goals. Despite the fact that nobody likes to lose even in friendly matches, this game gave the coach the opportunity to give some players sufficient playing time and draw some useful conclusions against a strong opponent.

Although today's schedule included the trip to Knittelfeld and the friendly against Dynamo, Shpilefsky's players did not avoid the morning training session.

Clearly, Monday's schedule will be more relaxed, which will include recovery in the pool, while a team event is scheduled after lunch.
