Four Aris players, with the prospect of becoming five, were distinguished at the annual football awards organized by the Pancyprian Football Players Association.
Our defender Connor Goldson and our midfielder Karol Struski were included in the best eleven of the season, while Aris left back Anderson Correia, was included in the 2nd best eleven of the season.
Yannick Gomis' goal against APOEL in G.S.P. (matchday 12) was awarded as the 3rd best goal of the season.
Our goalkeeper, Vana Alves, is expected to join the "green" group of award winners, as he leads the "Golden Gloves" category for the most clean sheets, a feat he achieved in 15 games and has one more compared to the 2nd goalkeeper in the respective category, with one game to go.
In the women's football, four players from our team were included in the top eleven. These were: The goalkeeper Anthi Papakonstantinou, the defender Lia Siakalli, the midfielder Vanessa Mobo and the attacking midfielder Gelena Prvulovic.
