Aris Limassol announces the transfer of our young goalkeeper Landing Badji to Umm Salal SC. The Qatari club, who were aiming to acquire a top young African goalkeeper, have submitted a formal proposal to the club worth €1.1 million for his acquisition. Aris accepted the Qatari team's offer and the player, after passing the medical examinations, signed a contract with Umm Salal.
Aris FC signed the player two months ago paying as transfers fee 70 thousand euros from Senegalese club AS Pikine. Aris FC net profit for young Senegalese goalkeeper transfer to Qatar, amounts to 1 million euros!
Badji's transfer to Umm Salal proves that policy of acquiring young talented players who can contribute either immediately or in a short term to the team and at the same time have growth potential and therefore greater resale value, can pay off indeed. In addition, Badji’s transfer proves once again that Aris scouting team is very well-staffed.
We wish Landing Badji good luck in the next chapter of his career!
