Aris Limassol announces the signing of Serbian defender Slobotan Urosevic. The 29-year-old (15/04/1994) player, who was captain of Partizan Belgrade, has signed a two-year contract.
Urosevic is a left back and in the last season recorded 35 appearances in the Serbian league, all as a starter, and scored 4 goals. Serbian defender is quite experienced in European competitions, as he played in the group stages of both the Europa League and the Conference League. In the 22-23 season he reached the play-offs of the round of 16 stage of the Conference League, after his team had previously progressed as 2nd from Group D. Urosevic has played in 7 out of 8 European games with Partizan in Europe this season.
The experienced defender, who stands at 1.83 meters tall, played for Partizan from January 2018 until May 2023, recording a total of more than 150 appearances in all competitions. With the "black and white" team, Urosevic won 2 cups. As a member of the Serbian national under-19 team, he won the gold medal at the European Championship in 2013.
The former Partizan captain started his career with Rad Belgrade and also played for Napredak Serbia. Apart from Serbia, he spent the 15-16 season on loan at Belgian side Leuven.
