Aris Limassol FC announces the signing of English centre-back Connor Lambert Goldson!
The 1.91 tall defender has signed a three-year contract and will be staying with us until the summer of 2027. Goldson is 31 years old (18/12/1992) and has been playing for the Scottish side Rangers FC for the last 6 years (since the summer of 2018). During his time there, he recorded more than 300 appearances, scoring 23 goals in the process, in all competitions with the Scotish giants, with whom he won a league title, a Scottish cup and a League Cup, and was a finalist in the 2021-22 season Europa League final. In total, Goldson has 82 appearances in the Europa and Champions League.
Goldson began his career with English side Shrewsbury Town FC where he served from 2010 to 2015, playing in the English League One and League Two. In August 2015, he was transferred to Brighton and Hove Albion FC where he played for three years in total (2 in the Premieship) and made his debut for the Seagulls in the 2017-18 season in the English Premier League.
