A goaless draw was Aris FC final result in the 2nd friendly game in Austria this time against Hamburger SV. The friendly game in Kufstein considered to be the final test for the Germans before they kick-off the 2. Bundesliga season on August 2nd.Against a team for which our game was the final rehearsal before the start of the 2nd season. So taking this into account, Aris performance was good. In fact, it was our team that created the most clear chances to score and came close especially with Montnor’s shoot to the post. But even without the ball the Aris was quite solid against the ball, not allowing the Germans to create any significant chances.
In one more game, Aliaksei Shpileuski split the playing time to almost all of his players, using in total 23 of his players, with the Belarusian coach making 10 changes at half-time.
In the first half, the starting eleven were: Zadro, Correia, Urosevic, Yago, Sané, Mayambela, Nikolic, Struski, Montnor, Gomis and Kokorin.
In the second half, Aris played with: Zadro, Demetriou (86'Theocharous), Lοucοubar, Moussounda, Boakye, Sarfo, Matysik, Bengtsson (Kovacev), Brown, Semedo and Kvilitaia.
Friday's schedule includes virtual reality training, pool recovery and theory.
