Aris goalkeeper Vana Alves received the "Golden Gloves" award by Pancyprian Footballers Association for keeping the most clean sheets during the second round of Cyta Championship.
The Brazilian keeper managed to keep his goal intact in 7 out of 13 games in the second round and prevailed over the other contenders who were vying for the award, by 2 games more (second place goalkeepers had 5 clean sheets).
The 7 clean sheets out of a total of thirteen games, gives an impressive percentage of 54%!
In addition, Vana Alves is currently sharing the 1st place in the overall standings in the relevant category, having 12 in 24 regular season games, which translates to 50%.
