If you already have a Cypriot FAN ID, you don’t need to apply for a new one. It is valid indefinitely, even if it has an expiration date printed on it. Children under 14 years old do not need a FAN ID.
You can apply for it from the comfort of your home. Let’s walk through the process step by step.
Step 1: Go to the Cyprus Sports Organization website
Visit website theasis.cy and create an account Provide your email address or phone number. After registration, go to the "Applications" section and select "New Application."
Step 2: Select the country of your citizenship or residence
You will be prompted to upload a document confirming your identity.
- For Non-Residents: Upload a scanned copy of your passport.
- For Residents: Upload a photo of your residence permit (Pink Slip).
Step 3: Scan your face
After your document has been verified, you will be prompted to complete biometric authentication to confirm the validity of the photo in your passport or residence permit. Ensure your front-facing camera is operational, and position your face within the on-screen frame to facilitate facial recognition.
Step 4: Fill out the form
To proceed with your application, please provide the identification number of the document you've uploaded and your current address. If you're visiting Cyprus as a tourist, you can use the address of your accommodation, such as your hotel or hostel. This information is necessary to complete the application process.
Your FAN ID is ready
To purchase football match tickets in Cyprus, you'll need to use your CSO (Cyprus Sports Organization) Fan Card number. This number is required during the ticket purchasing process. For stadium entry, the physical or digital Fan Card itself is mandatory. To ensure a smooth experience, download your Fan Card to your device. For added convenience, you can add it to your Apple Wallet on iPhone or Google Wallet on Android devices.
