The long stay of our team in Latvia is coming to an end. Almost three weeks have passed (since June 24) since Aris began the main stage of the pre-season, but the most hard and demanding part of the preparation - which included 3 training sessions per day in several occasions - is coming to an end.
Upon the team's return to Cyprus, the players will rest for a few days and next Friday the team will fly to Austria for the second stage of the pre-season that includes friendly games with strong opponents.
Friday's double training session was the last day which included two training sessions in the Baltic country. On Saturday, Aris will hold the second and last friendly game against Riga II and early on Sunday morning, the team will fly back to Cyprus.
Friday morning's training session included strengthening exercises in the gym and ball drills. In the afternoon, following the warm up, the players practiced with the ball, with emphasis in tactics and set pieces.
Tomorrow's friendly, will be held at the "Baltic Sports Village" facilities and will start at 16:00.
