According to the Pancyprian Footballers Association, ARIS Limassol winger Mihlali Mayambela was named MVP for Matchday 1 of the Cytavision championship. It was determined through the evaluation of international platform InStat Index.
After receiving the award from PASP, the 26-year-old forward stated: "I am really happy that I was named MPV of Matchday 1. I want to thank my teammates, and I hope I will continue to add value to the squad. A big thank you to my teammates that helped me and to my coach. I’m happy with this award and am looking forward to the next games. We continue step by step".
