Aris Limassol is delighted to announce the signing of Cypriot international midfielder Charalampos Charalampous from Omonoia Nicosia!
The 23-year-old midfielder (born on April 4, 2002) has signed a three-year contract with our club.
Charalampous is a product of the Omonoia Nicosia academy and made his debut with the senior team during the 2018–19 season at the age of 17. With the Nicosia side, he won the league title in the 2020–21 season and Cypriot Cup in 2021–22 and 2022–23, while also lifting the Super Cup in 2021.
He has a total of 124 appearances in domestic league and cup competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 11 assists.
At European level, he has played in the group stages of both the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League, with a total of 24 appearances, 2 goals, and 3 assists.
Charalampous has represented Cyprus at U17 and U21 levels, and since September 2022, he has been a member of the Cyprus senior national team, earning 22 caps and scoring 1 goal.
