It is with great sadness, we were informed today of the passing of Christakis Michael, the caretaker of our women’s football team, who died last night at the age of 73.
Mr. Takis, as he was known to the entire Aris family, devoted his life to our club. He served as the caretaker of the men’s team for over three decades and, in the last two years, held the same role for our women’s football team.
He had closely associated his name with Aris and was always a loyal supporter, following the men’s team to every match, even while he was serving the women’s team.
Together with his beloved wife, Yianna, he was present in every stand, at every stadium where our team played, always there to support them.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
The funeral service will take place on Monday, May 26, at 12:30 at the Church of Saint Kosmas of Aitolos (Sfalaggiotissa).
