With an afternoon training session, Aris continued its preparation in Austria on Sunday. In the morning, the players had the chance to relax after yesterday’s demanding double training session.
Nevertheless, the afternoon session was in doubt and eventually began with a delay of about half an hour, due to the extreme weather conditions (heavy rainfall and strong winds) prevailing in Schladming.
The training, which lasted approximately 80 minutes, was conducted at its biggest part under the rain. Despite the conditions, the players carried out the session as planned, which, after the warm-up, included ball movement drills and then tactical play in a large area. At the end, the football players worked on set pieces and finished with running.
