Triple training sessions

With a morning run on the beach at 07:00AM, Aris FC players started the 2nd week of the pre-season in Latvia. The next two training sessions, at 10:30AM and 17:30, were held on the pitch.

Entering week 2, the pre-season schedule is changing shape as ball exercises are now added to the morning practices as well. The degree of difficulty in the strength training exercises increases and the emphasis is placed on endurance, speed and strength.

The afternoon practice included ball drills, tactical drills and high intensity play. Triple training sessions will continue throughout the week. 

Meanwhile, Steeve Yago arrived in Latvia on Sunday night  as planned. Yago was given additional leave due to his national team duty. Steeve, was integrated into the squad and as of Monday morning he started training with the aim of reaching the readiness level of the others as soon as possible.

Weather change

On another note, there was a significant change in weather conditions in Latvia as of today. On Sunday, the temperature reached 27 degrees Celsius. But since Monday morning the temperature dropped significantly as it hovered around 18–20 degrees Celsius during the day. In fact, the morning training session which started at 10:30 am was conducted mostly under rain. The same scenario of low temperatures and rain is expected to continue over the next few days.
