Ari’s players gathered again early this morning at the beach for their usual run, but before they started, the coach announced that the 2nd training session of the day (the one scheduled for 10:30) was cancelled.
Truth is that Tuesday was a very tough day for the players and especially the afternoon training session which was long and very intense, so the coaching staff chose not to put any more strain on them, giving them a chance to recover. Besides, Wednesday’s afternoon training session, which included tactical drills, ball drills and tactical play, was also of long duration with the players training at high intensity again.
Meanwhile, as expected, today's league draw did not go unnoticed by the delegation here in Latvia, as Aris' goal in the upcoming championship has now officially taken shape. The team's coach Aliaksei Shpileuski did not refuse to comment on the draw on the official Aris website: "We will face all the teams both at home and away, so the order of the games is not of high importance. Of course, the fact that at the beginning we will be facing teams that have just been promoted to the league and will be actually new teams/unknown, that will display motivation and great enthusiasm means that we have to take these elements into account."
In regard to the weather, the low temperatures and periodically rain, continued in Jurmala today. The temperature in the morning hovered around 14-15 degrees and later rose to 20 degrees.
