With Aris support at “Veneto 25”

The 4th International Student Conference, "Veneto 25", was held in Padua, Italy, from March 6th to 10th, under the auspices of the Council of Europe, the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and the Hellenic Institute of Venice.

Students from the Pancyprian Gymnasium, with the financial support of Aris, participated again this year in the international student conference, representing our country as they have done in recent years.

The students presented the results of their work at the conference: a tourism app (https://cypruscompass.cnet.cy) and a poem they set to music. Both projects had a common theme of showcasing the relationship between our island and Venice and they received praise from the participants and organizers. At the same time, by attending the presentations from the other schools, they gathered valuable information, observed how other students worked, and evaluated the outcomes of their research.

This is an important educational initiative that provided the students with an experiential learning opportunity. During the preparation of their work, the students worked as a team and understood the concept of research. They explored the rich culture of Veneto, its natural beauty with its unique architectural features, and its significant contribution to science and education. They visited the University of Bologna, the Medical School of Padua, the Cathedral of Saint Anthony, St. Mark's Basilica in Venice, the Arena in Verona, and other attractions that revealed the magic of the Veneto region.

We would like to warmly congratulate the students who represented our school and our country! Aris supported this effort, believing in their academic potential.

We hope that this program will continue to grow and serve both the local community and all those who visit the island. Aris will continue to support similar initiatives by the new generation that aim at the personal advancement of youth and the promotion of our country abroad.
