The management of AEL Limassol and Aris Limassol, in the occasion of their last match at
Tsireio stadium, invite the fans of both teams and Limassol's fans in general, to fill the stadium on Sunday's game.
Our intention is to turn the last match of our teams at Tsirio Stadium, to
a celebration of Limassol football to bid farewell to the historic
stadium of our city with the best memories.
Sunday's match is scheduled to start at 19.00. To do so, following the decision of AEL president Andreas Sofokleous, the ticket price is set at €5 euros, while the entrance for children is set at €1.
Prior to kick-off, the managements of both teams will honour veterans
players, coaches, and officials of AEL, Aris and Apollon who had
significant contribution in shaping the history of football in Limassol during the period
which the city's teams used Tsirio Stadium as their home ground.
Those who will be honored are:
Former Presidents of AEL, Dimitris Solomonides and Lοris Lysiotis, former Presidents of Aris, Kyriakos Hatzikyriakos, Doros Ieropoulos and Odysseas Miltiadous and former Presidents of Apollon, Dimis Kirzis and Pambos Georgiadis.
AEL players:
Panicos Papadopoulos, Andreas Constantinou, Loizos Mavroudis, Pavlos
Savva, Makis Sokratous,
Aris players: Demos Kareklas, Marios Makridis, Andreas Kissonergis, Andreas
Andreas Papakostas, Marios Tsigis, Panicos H'' Loizou.
Apollon players: Panikos Yolitis, Giannakis Giagoudakis, Andros Christodoulou Pambos Pittas, Antonis Elias Andrellis.
Coaches: Andreas Michailidis, Pambos Christodoulou, Sofronis
Avgusti and Panikkos Krystallis, who played for both AEL and
Apollon, while he also coached both teams.
The long-time employees of Tsirio Stadium Zacharias Stavrou and
Kostas Christodoulou.
