Aris Limassol FC, following the recent announcement of a €100,000 financial aid package for fellow citizens affected by the devastating fires, is pleased to outline the structure and distribution method of the assistance—aiming to deliver timely and targeted relief to those in urgent need.
Immediate Supply Delivery
On Friday, a delegation from Aris Limassol, along with our valued sponsor Dr. Stanislava, delivered essential supplies—including fire extinguishers, beverages, water, and medicines—worth €10,000 to Souni village and the Cultural Hall of Agios Ambrosios.
Partnership with the “Aris Social Care Foundation”
In cooperation with the Aris Social Care Foundation, led by Professor Dr. Nikolas Zamboglou, and closely tied to our club, targeted aid efforts have already begun. Through the foundation’s director, Ms. Elena Konstantinidou, and the social worker from the German Medical Institute Maro Antoniou, contact has been made with patients residing in fire-affected areas to assess their needs, especially regarding medical equipment.
Beginning Monday, a dedicated response team will visit impacted individuals, focusing on two key groups:
- Those requiring medical equipment replacement
- Elderly individuals needing assistance with cleaning homes from fire-related debris and ash
An initial sum of €20,000 will be allocated to this effort. In partnership with the foundation, Aris Limassol will fund cleaning crews and cover the cost of replacing damaged or destroyed specialized medical equipment such as respirators, wheelchairs, and hospital beds.
