The 95-year history of Aris Limassol has now been meticulously documented in two elegant volumes totaling 1,600 pages. The book, titled “Aris Limassol: 90+4 Years of history”, authored by Andreas Makridis, was officially presented during a press conference hosted by the club.
This two-volume publication offers a detailed depiction of the social and historical context of Cyprus — and particularly of Limassol — during the 1930s. It highlights the founding figures of Aris and includes rare archival documents and photographs from that era.
The author explores the club’s cultural, musical, and social contribution from its establishment to the present day, explaining how Aris became a focal point and meeting place for the intellectual and artistic circles of Limassol.
The book also features the profiles of many notable members of the Aris family, along with 160 interviews with athletes, administrators, and individuals who have played an important role in the club’s journey over the decades.
The writing and research process took more than two years to complete, resulting in a historical legacy not only for the supporters of Aris Limassol but also for anyone interested in the athletic and social history of the city.
The two volumes are priced at €70 and are available at four locations in Limassol:
The club’s official store on Amathounta Avenue, the Aris boutique at Alphamega Stadium (on match days), K.P. Kyriakou Bookshop (opposite the courthouse), and Vivliochora Bookshop.
