Aris lost to Heidenheim

Our team desplayed a very good performance especially in the first hour of the game in the last friendly test in Austria against Heidenheim, but at the end we suffered a  defeated by 2-1.

Aris was the better team in the first half in which they led 1-0 thanks to Montnor's goal on 16th minute following a great assist by Kokorin. At the same time, our team was really compact without the ball and did not allow the opponent to create any chances in front of Sofroniou goal.

In the second half Aris missed a clear chance with Semedo to make it 2-0 and in the next minute the Germans equalized at 51' through Wanner. In the last 30 minutes Shpileuski replaced 10 players and as a result the team was not as solid. This led to a more open game with both Aris and Heidenheim creating chances. The Germans were the team who scored a 2nd goal in 84' through Wanner again and finally got the win by 2-1.

Aliaksei Shpileuski fielded a total of 21 players, with the starting eleven staying on the pitch for 60 minutes, while in the last half hour, the coach substituted almost the entire squad except for the goalkeeper: Sofroniou, Correia (60' Boakye), Urosevic (60' Loucoubar), Goldson (60' Moussounda), Yago (60' Sane), Montnor (60' Bengtsson), Struski(60' Sarfo), Nikolic(60' Matysik), Semedo(60' Mayambela), Kvilitaia(60' Gomis), Kokorin(60' Sawo).
