Aris Limassol announces the signing of Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Pereira Folha.
The 24-year-old central midfielder, born on 23 March 2002, has signed a contract until the end of the 2026-27 season, with our club retaining the option to extend the agreement for a further three years.
Folha spent the past two seasons with Al Wahda FC in the United Arab Emirates and became a free agent following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. During his time with the Abu Dhabi-based club, he made 29 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist, while also helping the team win the UAE League Cup.
Folha is a product of the FC Porto academy, joining the club at the age of eight and progressing through the ranks before making his first-team debut during the 2021-22 season. He made 14 appearances for Porto's first team, winning one league title and two domestic cups.
Between 2021 and 2024, the midfielder also made 80 appearances for FC Porto B, scoring six goals and providing 10 assists.
At international level, Folha has represented Portugal at U18, U20 and U21 level.
