The highest honour and recognition at the top sports awards of the country, "the 51st edition of Cypriot athletes that excel, organized by the Cyprus Sports Writers union, was awarded to Aris, who was named Team of the Year for 2023!
The excellent ones were selected based on their performance and achievements in the calendar year 2023, a period in which our team celebrated its first ever championship title, first ever Super Cup and secure a spot in Europa League group stages, also for the first time in our history. At the same time, our team has already secured its presence in the champions group for the current season.
In addition to the team award, Aris also excelled on an individual level, as four of our players (more than any other team) were named in the best eleven of 2023. Vana Alves, Karol Struski, Caju and Alexandr Kokorin. In fact, The Russian ace, in addition to being a member of the best eleven, was also awarded as the most valuable player for 2023!
