As was the case last Sunday, Aliaksei Shpileuski gave the players a day off to rest from the daily and arduous training sessions before entering the 3rd and final week of preparation in Latvia.
As of tomorrow, Monday until Saturday, training sessions will be mostly held twice a day (morning and afternoon), and the difference compared to the last week, is that the morning run on the beach which was the kick off for the last week's daily training sessions, is removed from the schedule. On Wednesday and Saturday, the team will hold their first friendly games against FK Metta and Riga II respectively.
Meanwhile, Mihlali Mayambela arrived in Latvia this afternoon, as the visa issue that kept him from travelling to the Baltic country with the rest of the squad, is resolved. "Maya" was following a preparation programme in Cyprus, and will now join the training sessions with the rest of the team, starting from tomorrow.
