Aris Limassol announces the transfer of defender John Ruiz to LD Alajuelense.
The 20-year-old defender from Costa Rica, was acquiredby Aris FC two years ago, but did not play for our team as he was initially loaned to AEZ Zakaki in 2023-24 season and in the season 2024-25 was loaned to a club in his home country.
During this past year with his club Puntarenas FC, Ruiz had a full season, making 45 appearances and attracting the interest of several clubs in his country.
It is worth noting that although LD Alajuelense has acquired the player’s rights, Aris retains a significant resale percentage in the event of a future transfer.
