Aris Limassol announces that coach Alexei Shpileuski will leave the club at the end of the season.
The Belarusian coach took this decision in order to seek for new challenges in his career, and Aris could not stand in his way.
In fact, the young coach, during his three years spell at the helm of Aris—he took over in February 28th in the 2021-22 season—became the most successful coach in the club's history, winning the first-ever championship in the 2022-23 season, the 2023 Super Cup, and guided the team to Europa League group stages in the 2023-24 season.
Alexei Shpileuski will always hold a special place in the history books of the club and in the hearts of all Aris supporters.
Despite his decision, Mr. Shpileuski remains focused on the team's current obligations, with the goal of guiding Aris to the best possible spot of the table at the end of the season.
The club's management, as well as the Aris fans, will have the opportunity to bid farewell to the coach in the proper manner, as someone who achieved so much with our team, during the last play-offs home game against Omonoia for matchday 9.
