Eric Boakye’s outstanding volley in the game against Anorthosis, emerged as the top goal for matchday 26, in Cyprus Footballers Association poll. The difficulty of the shot, combined with the long distance, were the decisive elements in the fans voting giving him the thumbs up as the top goal.
It has to be mentioned that this was the first goal of Boakye’s in the championship and only second in Aris shirt. Eric has also scored a beautiful goal against APOEL in the cup.
