On the occasion of the World Earth Day (22 April), Aris Limassol held a tree planting in an area near the German Oncology Centre in Limassol.
The tree planting took place in collaboration with the independent environmental organization "Green Shield" At the tree planting Aris was represented by a large delegation, as apart from the president Vladimir Fedorov and the directors of the academies and the company, there were players of the senior team, the U19, children of our football and basketball academies. Also, present were the president of the Aris Social Care Foundation, Professor Nicholas Zamboglou, employees of the oncology centre and members of the "Green Shield".
A total of 50 saplings such as olive, carob and rose trees were planted.
It is worth mentioning that Aris has entered into a "green" alliance with Real Betis Balompié and the international environmental organization "Forever Green" and one of the olive trees planted was intended to honour this partnership.
At the end of the tree planting, the president of the "green shield", Kyriakos Andreou, awarded honorary diplomas to all the participants.
