In the last Sunday’s derby against Apollon, Vana Alves reached 100 appearances in Aris jersey!
The 32-year-old goalkeeper managed to reach the milestone of 100 appearances in a span of 2 years and 5 months. In fact, the Brazilian ace made his debut with the team in the opening match of the 21-22 season against Olympiacos Nicosia at Makario stadium (22 August 2021). Since then, he has counted 99 more appearances, with his 100th being recorded last Sunday against Apollon.
In detail, Aris' number 1 counted 83 appearances in the league, 14 in European competitions, 2 in the Cup and 1 in the Super Cup.
In his first year with the team (season 21-22), the Aris captain recorded 32 appearances (31 in the league and 1 in the cup), 36 in season 22-23 (33 in the league, 1 cup and 2 in Europe), while in the current season he already counted 32 appearances (19 in the league, 12 in Europe and 1 in the Super Cup).
Out of these 100 games for Aris, the 32-year-old Brazilian managed to keep a clean sheet in 40 of them!
Aris will honour the captain for his 100 appearances for the club before the start of their next league match against Anorthosis.
