ARIS women’s team had to come from behind to celebrate their 5th victory of the season against Lefkothea Latsia with 2-1.
The game stood up to the expectations since prior to the game ARIS was two points behind Lefkothea. The team from Nicosia managed to open the score four minutes before half time with Chrysostomou.
Half time substitution Jelena Prulovic managed to level the game two minutes into the second half. Having equalized, ARIS was the team that pushed for the second and got it with Kalaberova in the 73rd minute following an assist by Prulovic, who led ARIS to victory.
With the three points, our team climbed to third place along with Omonia, having 19 points.
The next game for our team is on Sunday January 16th against Omonia in Nicosia.
