Aris began its second and final week of the training camp in Latvia with three additional players joining the squad.
Following their international commitments, Charalambos Charalambous, Anderson Correia and Yacine Bouhrane were granted an extra week of rest. The trio rejoined the rest of the team yesterday at the training camp in Riga.
Training sessions are progressing according to plan and, following the same pattern as the opening week, the schedule includes double training sessions in the morning and afternoon.
On Saturday (11:00AM), Aris will play its first pre-season friendly against JDFS Alberts, a Latvian second-division side, as the country's top-flight clubs have domestic cup commitments this coming weekend.
Following the conclusion of the friendly, the first phase of the team's pre-season camp in Latvia will effectively come to an end. The players will then have a short period to recover before beginning the second camp, which will take place in Poland from 15 to 31 July.
