Aris Limassol has reached an agreement with Toulouse for the transfer of Shavy Babicka for a fee of 2.75 million euros!
The amount offered by the French cup winners for the acquisition of the Gabonese winger, is a record for Aris FC, as it is one of the most expensive transfers ever made for a player from the Cypriot league!
The transfer of Babika (will be officially completed after the medical examinations) the French Ligue 1, -which is consider among the top 5 leagues in Europe-, is a great achievement, both for him and Aris.
The Gabonese winger joined our team in the summer of 2021 for a nominal fee to the Rwandan “SC Kiyovu Sports”, and his development was so impressive, that two and a half years later, he earned his transfer to one of the top European leagues for a record fee!
In these two and a half seasons at Aris, Babicka recorded 91 appearances with the team, scoring a total of 16 goals. Babicka’s name is already down in Aris' history book, since he had a significant contribution both to last season’s winning campaign and the team's first ever participation in a European competition group stage.
