Aris Limassol announces the extension of Vaná Alves’ contract for an additional year.
The Brazilian goalkeeper joined our club in July 2021, and the 2025-26 season marked his fifth campaign with Aris.
During this period, Vaná Alves has made a total of 179 appearances in all competitions, making him the player with the most games among the current members of the squad.
He has kept 69 clean sheets in 179 matches wearing the Aris jersey, achieving an impressive success rate of 38.5%.
Vaná Alves was a key member of the team that won the Cyprus Championship in the 2022–23 season and the Cyprus Super Cup in 2023. He is also the only player to have featured in all 18 European matches in the club’s history.
