Aris Limassol announces the signing of Hungarian defender Bence Szakos from Diósgyőri VTK.
The 19-year-old right-back, born on 22 February 2007, has signed a five-year contract that will keep him at our club until the summer of 2031.
Szakos is a product of the DVTK academy, having joined the club at the age of seven and progressing through the ranks before reaching the first team. He made his senior debut during the 2024–25 season at the age of 18.
During the 2025–26 season, the Hungarian defender made 23 appearances in the country’s top-flight league, providing two assists.
Overall, Szakos made 35 appearances for DVTK’s first team, scoring one goal and registering two assists.
At international level, Szakos is currently a Hungary U19 international, having previously represented his country at U17 and U18 level.
