Aris Limassol announces the departure of Alex Moussounda with both parties having agreed to terminate their collaboration by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old midfielder from Gabon joined our club in the summer of 2021 and has made a significant contribution to the team’s recent success. During his time at Aris, he was part of the squad that won the 2022/23 league title, lifted the 2023 Super Cup, and competed in the UEFA Europa League group stage.
In the 2025/26 season, the international midfielder featured in 16 matches, scoring one goal. In February, he had joined Israeli side Hapoel Petah Tikva on loan until the end of the season.
Overall, Moussounda recorded 102 official appearances for Aris across domestic and European competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
