Theodosiou Returns to Cyprus for Medical Assessment

Our first pre-season friendly in Poland against Legia Warsaw provided plenty of encouragement, with the performance offering a positive boost to the squad, particularly the younger players, despite the result coming in a friendly fixture.

Unfortunately, the match also brought an injury concern involving Michalis Theodosiou. The young forward suffered a dislocated left shoulder following a challenge and was forced to leave the field. The club's medical staff successfully relocated the shoulder on site, but it has been decided that the player will return to Cyprus tomorrow to undergo further medical examinations, including an MRI scan, in order to determine the full extent of the injury and establish the appropriate rehabilitation plan.

In other news, our goalkeeper Tasos Pishias will spend the 2026/27 season on loan at APEA Akrotiri.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper, who is a Cyprus U19 international, has been with our club for the past two years. The move is intended to provide him with valuable first-team experience and regular competitive playing time as part of his continued development.

As for the rest of the squad, Sunday's schedule consisted of a recovery session in the gym, followed by ice baths, pool recovery, and sauna. The players will return to the training pitch tomorrow as they begin their second week of pre-season preparations in Poland.
