The team's pre-season preparations in Warka, Poland continued today with two more training sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Unlike Friday, when the squad split its work between the gym and the pitch, both sessions on Saturday were held on the field. The players worked on passing drills, explosive power exercises, small-sided games, build-up play, finishing, and set-piece routines.
Tomorrow will effectively mark the end of the team's second week of pre-season training in Poland, with a friendly match against Korona Kielce scheduled to kick off at 2:00 p.m. local time (3:00 p.m. Cyprus time).
In the team's third friendly in Poland, head coach Artsiom Ratskou and his coaching staff will once again be looking to see the squad demonstrate the principles they have been working to implement since the start of pre-season, while also assessing the progress made in areas where further improvement is still required.
A pleasant surprise
In other news, the team received a visit at its hotel yesterday afternoon from a familiar face. Former Aris midfielder Karol Struski, who represented the club from 2023 to 2025 and played a key role in the team's championship-winning campaign, stopped by to greet the squad.
Since leaving Aris in 2025, Struski has continued his career with Raków Częstochowa. Although only a handful of his former teammates remain in the current squad, his visit was a clear reminder of the strong bond he continues to share with the club that helped him take the next step in his career.
