The players then moved onto the pitch for approximately 75 minutes, where the session focused on passing drills, tactical work, small-sided games, attacking build-up exercises with finishing, and set-piece routines.
Although the team's first pre-season friendly on Polish soil against Legia Warsaw is scheduled for Saturday, the players will also complete a morning gym session before the match.
The encounter with Legia will provide Head Coach Artem Radkov and his coaching staff with their first opportunity to assess elements of the team's playing style that have been developed during pre-season, against strong opposition that is further advanced in its preparations. The Polish Ekstraklasa season begins next weekend, making Saturday's fixture a final dress rehearsal for the Warsaw-based side ahead of the start of its official campaign.
