Aris Limassol announces the termination of its collaboration by mutual consent with Yannick Gomis.
One of the fans’ favourite “Giannis” joined our club in the summer of 2022 and played a significant role in winning the 2022–23 league title, as well as in the team’s participation in the UEFA Europa League group stage during the 2023–24 season.
During his four-year spell at Aris, Gomis made a total of 142 appearances, scoring 41 goals and providing 18 assists.
In the 2025–26 season, which has recently concluded, he recorded 28 appearances, four goals and three assists.
Throughout his time at the club, the Senegalese forward scored important goals and was one of the two scorers for Aris in the club’s first-ever European match.
Beyond being an outstanding footballer, Yannick Gomis was a model professional, distinguished by his character — a quality that made him highly appreciated within the team and by the fans.
Yannick Gomis may be leaving Aris, but he will always remain a special member of the “green” family.
